Team ABSA
SAFETY FIRST: COVID-Guidance Abroad
We provide our athletes with the amazing opportunity to compete abroad, which is why we prioritize providing our community with key resources that keep athletes and their families well-informed before our next adventure together!

During this era of COVID, we practice the highest guidelines required by both the US and the countries that we visit. This article will cover a few common questions about ABSA's protocols to keep our athletes safe during competitions as well as traveling requirements set by some of our host countries.
Let's dive right in!
“Will there be medical personnel on-site in the event of an accident?”
Yes. A certified athletic trainer travels with each team and is trained to handle most sports related injuries.
“Is vaccination required for participation?”
No, ABSA does not require vaccination; however, every country has different requirements.
When reviewing our list of upcoming tours, please note those with an asterisk (*). These indicate the countries that require vaccination for entry, and it is important for our families to be aware that almost every country now requires testing upon and prior to departure; regardless of vaccination.
Dominican Republic
This December, we're headed on another great competitive adventure to the DR! Here are the latest updates on the country's COVID-entry requirements, and feel free to reach out to us with any questions you may have.
***As always, please note all countries requiring vaccination prior to submitting your deposit!
So, what are you for?!
End 2021 with a BANG and join us for December's softball competition. We can't wait to cheer on our athletes as they take their game to the next level!
